The following is unnegotiable and all applications without it will be unsuccessful: Valid Drivers License. Good Communications Skills. Grade 12 (matric). Minimum of 3 years experience in the telecommunications or Wireless Internet Industry. Advanced Knowledge of Router Programming. Must not be afraid of heights. Basic knowledge of Mikrotik's. Advanced Knowledge of Wiring. Basic Knowledge of Networks. Experience in installations of WISP equipment exp Routers, Switches, Dishe, Network Points, UPS's etc.
The following will be seen as an advantage: Knowledge of 3CX or certifications. Porta One Experience. Experience with IP Phones and Gateways. Training on heights certification. Knowledge of air fibre networks.
A successful applicant will have the following: Highly effective Communication skills. Sound time management. Adaptable, logical and strong innovative and problem solving skills. Quick thinking, proactive and organized. Willing to work on certain weekends and overtime as needed. Team player with strong proven track record of the ability to work independently. Must be able to work under pressure and be deadline driven to meet targets. Must be able to complete VOIP and WISP installations, programming and fault finding.
