Quality Engineer Equity, Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. Job Position: Quality Engineer (Equity). Location: Uitenhage. Salary: R35 000 to R60 000 per month commensurate with experience and qualification + benefits 40 hour week.
Qualifications / Requirements: Certified VDA 6.3 Auditor and recognized Tertiary Qualification essential. IATF certification / qualified essential. Proven experience dealing with automotive manufacturing customers and handling of any issues, essential.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role. Demonstrated experience in the automotive industry. Excellent communication (written and spoken) skills at all levels. Excellent attention to detail and high levels of confidentiality. Highly computer literate with advanced MS Excel
Key Performance Areas: Processing customer complaints and complaint reports including return processing / reporting. Coordination and release authorisation in the event of faulty products. Decision on how to proceed in the event of quality deviations. Participation in the organisation and execution of audits. Organisation and execution of warehouse and dispatch controls
Participation in the planning and assessment of checks. Technical support and advice ensuring inspections of purchased foreign material / ensuring the inspection of documentation. Host training seminars on quality relevant topics.
