Junior Marketing Position (Industrial Instruments). Glenwood, South Suburbs. Flowmetrix SA cc is seeking a Junior Marketing / Internal Sales Representative with 3 to 5 years’ experience within the manufacturing / Industrial Instrumentation sector – Durban Based.
Requirements: Grade 12. (Minimum). A Diploma in Sales and Marketing/IT or Technical Qualification would be advantageous. Excellent communication skills (Both written and spoken in English). Desktop Publishing. Skilled in Photoshop and/or Corel Draw, Videography, Photography and Web Development/Management. Be well versed in social media marketing and campaign management (Facebook and LinkedIn).
Good understanding and interpretation of Google analytics allowing more direct marketing campaigns to be managed. Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet, Chrome). An above average IT Skillset is necessary for this post. 3-5 years relevant experience in the manufacturing industry. 3-5 years IT experience, Valid driver’s license. Experience working in customer service / sales orientated background.
Responsibilities: Creating marketing material, including advertisements, print media, and promotional items. Ensuring print media such as User Manuals, Specification Sheets and Data sheets etc, are always up to date and on par with latest releases of equipment. Manage the Flowmetrix SA Web site and keep it up to date with current information, including technical literature, and marketing communication.
The successful candidate will also be required to design focused marketing material (Industrial Sector and Product Specific). Manage campaigns on all social media platforms and analyse reach and exposure gained from these marketing exercises. Internal documents, including data sheets, user manuals and instructions is to be managed an updated on a regular basis.
The successful candidate will be further required to provide necessary support to the Field Sales Team which include preparation of quotations and carrying out regular follow ups. This role will require direct communication with new and existing clients. The successful candidate will report directly to the Sales and Marketing Manager.
