IT Shift Manager, Other, Northern Suburbs. One of Surgos very exciting clients are seeking a skilled IT Shift Manager to join their dynamic team servicing USA based customers. Own transport is not negotiable and availability to work on weekends as needed. This is a semi remote roll. Assisting in reducing IT maintenance cost will be vital. Organisational and planning skills would be essential. This is a highly pressured role, only apply if you work well in that type of environment.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Installation of software required for all employees. Troubleshoot all PC related problems. Set up new workstations. User admin on SQL. Keep servers running. User/Hardware movement. Quick response and completion times of tickets logged.

Skills and requirements: CCNA and MCSA or equivalent Network Integration Specialist Diploma. Advanced knowledge and Experience of the following Networking concepts: TCP/IP, VoIP, QoS, MPLS, Firewall and VPN. Advance knowledge and Experience in Server Management VMware and Hyper-V, windows 2012+ and Linux. Web Technologies knowledge would be an advantage. Ability to analyse problems, identify alternative solutions, and implement recommendations. Understanding of Helpdesk Processes. Ability to troubleshoot effectively and quickly.

Working hours: USA Working Hours: 15:00 - 24:00 (or 16:00 to 01:00, daylight savings time).
