Looking for Interior Decorator and Designer, Knysna, Eden. Company Name: Conversion Advantage. We are looking for a creative interior decorator / designer to increase sales, get buyer’s attention & to provide an excellent in-store, website & ecommerce experience.

The goal is to use interior decorating / designing to convert window shoppers into prospects, drive branding & sales objectives & maximize profitability. In addition to  interior decorating / designing, you will be working across our wide range of clients creating mood boards that provide creative direction for their websites photography, videos for their social media & digital marketing campaigns. The goal for the digital campaigns is the same as retail, to convert website visitors into shoppers, & social media exposure into sales.

Responsibilities: Define, design & implement a creative interior decorator / designer strategy (Instore, businesses & online). Create appealing & eye-catching visual displays that lead the customer through the entire store, & could be carried through to online marketing assets (Website & Social media). Produce window displays, signs, interior displays, floor plans & special promotions displays. Identify key messages & set a clear image of the end result. Come up with, revise & present design ideas with assistant designers. Act in alignment to the organization’s culture, products, image & target market.

Monitor costs & work within budget. Oversee the production & brief staff on arranging displays. Change displays to promote new product launches & reflect festive or seasonal themes. Liaise with suppliers & source elements. Research lifestyle, demographics & design trends.

Requirements: Proven work experience as a creative interior decorator / designer. Demonstrable visual design skills with a strong retail merchandising portfolio. Solid experience in field interior decorating / designing, including window displays, signs, interior displays & space utilisation. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design tools. Knowledge of current interior decorating / designing trends & best practices.

Proficiency in MS Office. Creative & innovative thinker. Ability to analyze sales merchandising reports & survey results. Degree or Diploma in interior decorating / designing, fashion merchandising, exhibition design, visual communications or similar.
