Housekeeping Attendant (cleaning cottages in Cavendish)
Terms of Employment: Seasonal, Part Time, On Call, Day
Salary: $11.00 to $14.00 Hourly for 22 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Cavendish area, Prince Edward Island (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Some high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable
Experience: Experience an asset
Work Setting: Motel, Resort, Private residence
Specific Skills: Sweep, mop and wash floors, Dust furniture, Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, Make beds and change sheets, Distribute clean towels and toiletries, Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen fixtures and appliances, Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, Pick up debris and empty trash containers
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Public transportation is not available
Work Location Information: Work in employer's/client's home, Rural community
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail
Essential Skills: Reading text, Writing
Other Information:Clean cottages and other related duties with other staff. Job runs through to Sept 1 (must work Sept 1) & be available weekends, not needing time off in August. Can work in Sept if available
