Product Designer UX, Durbanville, Northern Suburbs. The Product Designer will ensure that the UX team delivers the best designs for enhanced user experience while ensuring the business objectives are met. This includes working within a deadline to ensure the UX team delivers prototypes that are in line with the technical requirements, marketing strategy, budget constraints and target audience’s technical ability.

Salary is R35 – R40K per month CTC. Offices located in Cape Town, currently WFH role.

Minimum requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent certificate. Min 5 years’ experience in designing UX solutions for mobile and web. Min 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Deep understanding of design process to guide, plan, and scope project work. Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication ability. Working knowledge of basic business processes. Adobe Premier, 3D Studio Max and Google SketchUp.

Responsibility: Work closely with Product Managers and Lead Developers, across multiple products, throughout the product planning phase to ensure the UX team designs with a holistic view of the product. Use research to challenge and validate design decisions. Assist the UX team to better understand business needs across multiple products. Create prototypes, wireframes, sketches, journey maps to improve the user experience.

Stay up to date with industry trends and implement best practices, across multiple products. Assist in the process of validating feature requests, across multiple products, to ensure any additional features are in line with the product vision. Provide technical guidance to the UX Team. Assist with planning and carrying out usability testing. Communicate validated design concepts and decisions to stakeholders. Determine and implement company design standards to be followed in the UX design process.

Assist with onboarding of new UX team members in order to communicate the product vision and business strategy across multiple products. Participate in UX reviews and scrum ceremonies across multiple products. Salary: R35000 - R40000
