Role and responsibilities Senior bookkeeping / accounting including: Review of a junior bookkeeper’s work. Preparation of Annual Financial Statements and Tax submissions (including VAT and EMPs). Financial planning and management (e.g., reports, graphs, budgets, recons). Review client business models. Projects management. Pipeline management (including quotes and billing).

Business planning. Building financial models. Process analysis. Training. Stock management. Understanding production and manufacturing. Qualifications and education requirements. Registered with SAIPA or SAICA or AGA.

Required Skills: Practice management (recruiting new clients preferred). Senior accounting (including tax and payroll) – ability to review others’ work essential. Organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure (deadline driven). Able to take initiative and set up processes.
