Senior Training and Development Officer, Bryanston, Johannesburg. Surgo HR  Training manages a wide range of human resources functions that companies might otherwise outsource to multiple vendors of which one is in-house training. We are urgently looking for a Senior Training and Development Officer to join our team. The role consists of the facilitation of training and learning and development interventions as well as to facilitate the delivery of campaign-specific product training and interventions as required by the company and its clients.

Requirements and Competencies: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. Assessors and moderators accreditation. Skills Development and WSP submission experience (Registered SDF would be advantageous). 2+ years of hands-on trainer/facilitation a must. Working experience in a call centre environment desirable. Significant experience in delivery of Operational Training. Knowledge of learning methodologies and programs. Training facilitation and training individuals and groups. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English.

Ability to use PC/Mac. Able to navigate self-help resource tools. Ability to provide Product and Systems Knowledge training / On-line learning interventions with Strong IT skills (Microsoft suite, G- Suite, Zendesk and Slack) Solid understanding of how operational training can influence achievement of business. Self-motivated, enthusiastic and have a positive attitude towards work.

Excellent interpersonal and team skills with the ability to work under pressure at all levels of the organisation. Strong motivational and influencing skills to develop peoples attitudes and skills. Ability to respond positively to change demonstrating flexibility in shifting priorities. Work independently, as well as in a team environment.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:00  17:00. Salary: R 25,000 to R 40,000 CTC per month, depending on experience and skill set. Position Location: Bryanston – Johannesburg.
