Accounts Payable Manager/ Accountant - Pretoria (Non-EE), Eastern Pretoria, Pretoria / Tshwane. A national transport company is searching for an Accountant who has completed (or will soon complete) their articles to occupy a management position of the accounts payable function.

This role is established to implement control measures in order to manage the buying function, receiving of stock and relationship with creditors. The successful candidate should ideally reside in Pretoria East, or willing to relocate.

Duties & Responsibilities: Adhere to the company's procurement policies and procedures. Process Creditors' invoices and engage in communication with Creditors. Conduct Creditors' reconciliations. Prepare remittance advice for payment. Submit month-end reports to management. Establish and maintain controls with regards to the buying and receiving process. Ensure stock levels are maintained at ideal levels. Engage in any ad hoc admin duties and requirements. Engage in payroll and other accounting duties within the finance department.

Minimum Requirements: A relevant accredited qualification in the field of Accounting/ similar. Completed articles (or completing soon). Practical Pastel knowledge and experience. Attention to detail and accuracy. Task-orientated and self-motivated. Productive mindset, excellent organisational skills & efficient. Logical and strategic thinker. Ability to enforce strict control measures and staff compliance. Driver's license and own reliable transport.

Ideally reside in Pretoria East, or willing to relocate. Good Afrikaans and English verbal and written communication skills. SALARY: R30 000 - R35 000 CTC p/m.
