Qualified Electrician - East London, Eastern Cape. Position Requirements: Issuing of Certificate of Compliance is required. N3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. Trade Tested, MV/LV Authorization. 2-5 years working experience as a Qualified Electrician.

Role Responsibilities: Able to conduct a COC – Certificate of Compliance. MV/LV Testing + Authorization. Cable termination. Interprets and co -ordinates specific pre-work /site requirements with regards to installation, repairs, planned and predictive maintenance sequences. Maintaining, constructing, installing and commissioning of the electrical network. 11kv Overhead lines and Underground Cables, Switchgear, mini substations, ring main units, Transformers, 400V/230V Distribution kiosks.

Maintaining street lights and high mast lights. Perform overtime and standby duties on a roaster basis. Disconnect electricity in cases of an electrical failure and to repair line and cables. Compile weekly/monthly reports for electrical section.
