Baketech (Pty) Ltd is a leading baking ingredient manufacturer in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town and is on the search for an energetic Stock/Purchasing Controller, someone with a ‘can-do attitude and who enjoys problem-solving and not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty.

The successful candidate values accuracy and administrative detail. Stock Control Principles, FIFO & FEFO, analytical skills essential. Must be target-driven and be able to manage his/her own time. Being a team player is essential in the fast-paced Baketech environment. Must be an independent thinker and have the ability to problem-solve. Excellent communication is essential.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to: Manage raw materials stock levels and purchasing. Management of purchasing contracts, suppliers, and transporters. Reviewing of supplier contracts to ensure pricing remains competitive. Conduct stock takes and recounts.

Ensure stock variances addressed, explained, and reported. Ensure FIFO and FEFO principles actioned.
