Warehouse Manager and Stock Controller, Germiston, East Rand. Our company is looking for an individual to fill the role of Warehouse manager and stock controller. We are looking for an individual with high attention to detail, very good with numbers, and a willingness to learn. Due to the nature of the job, we would prefer that the candidate be male.

Main duties will be as follows: Ensure smooth running of the warehouse and supervise +/- 15 staff. Liaise with couriers regarding collections, returns, deliveries. Supervise loading and dispatch of couriers and drivers, checking the correctness of quantities/items sent out against invoices/delivery notes and collecting of same after signing by couriers.

Assisting customers that need to follow up on orders. Ensuring customer orders are dispatched on time and managing Orders Overdue Report. Receiving of stock, checking quantities received against supplier invoice and our Purchase Order. Processing supplier documents (capturing on our internal system).

Maintaining logbook of returns and making sure documentation for such returns is submitted to the accounts department. Maintaining logbook of goods sent to service providers. Maintaining Bills of materials. Helping with admin work as the need arises. Training will be provided on the use of our internal system.

Minimum requirements: Matric, Proficiency in Excel and Outlook, A tertiary qualification will be advantageous, Previous experience in such a role will be advantageous, Fluency in English, A team spirit and willingness to learn.
