One of its core programs is a safe and sober living house for abused women and female recovering addicts. The foundation now seeks the services of a Fundraiser / Marketing Officer to expand its operations. When you work with us as a fundraiser, you will need to grow our potential donor pool and encourage donations to help us move toward our goal of expansion and transforming one woman at a time.  You will be able to stretch and improve your communication and organizational skills in this role. The appointed / successful candidate will work on a negotiable commission basis.

Job Responsibilities: Raise funds for our cause and regularly meet or surpass fundraising targets. Research potential donors to understand how to position our organization to them. Explore and present new methods to raise funds for the Foundation.

Use technology and social media where possible to improve fundraising activities. Assist in planning and coordinating fundraising events (considering COVID 10 protocols). Create marketing materials, like flyers and brochures, to be used for the promotion of events and services. Analyze the performance of past events and other fundraising activities for effectiveness.

Identify areas where money can be saved. Maintain complete and orderly records of donors and manage regular donor communications. Build upon existing donor relationships and form new donor relationships regularly. Collaborate with other organizations and groups to build partnerships.

Job Skills & Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree or at least experience and track record of achievements. Exemplary communication abilities and good interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. At least two years of fundraising experience. Quick thinker and ability to make decisions under pressure. Drivers license (unendorsed). Own laptop, and cellphone.
