Junior Designer

We are currently seeking a high caliber Junior Designer. You will be working for a growing dynamic Canadian company based in Calgary providing thermal processing solutions to our customers around the globe.
Job Description:
 Design production units using Solid Edge CAD Software, producing 3D models and 2D drawings according to project specifications end engineering standards.
 Checking designs and drawings for completeness, accuracy and conformance to specifications and standards.
 Perform structural design checks to size structural and flow-checks for pipe sizing according to established standards.
 Custom design work to customer requirements with Project Managers and Engineers.
 New product design for R&D.
 Developing, maintaining, and improving design standards.
 Support to Technical Service with retrofit parts and procedure drawings.
 Support to Sales with Quote drawings.
Qualifications:
 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing design role(s) preferred
 Technical College Graduate, CET preferred
 Experience in designing with 3D CAD
 Experience with Solid Edge ST5 is an asset
 Manufacturing experience is an asset
