SALARY : AED 4,000-6000 (depending on experience + UAE Labor benefits)
An ideal candidate would be a seasoned accountant having expert knowledge of bookkeeping principles, complete cycle of accounting from preparing chart of accounts to consolidation and expert financial analysis.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary responsibility is manage proper accounting books and prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures
Analyze assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
Prepare monthly bank/ account reconciliations
Prepare financial statements analysis on a monthly basis and report on variances
Assist with financial and tax audits
Prepare tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
Assist with quarterly group financial reports; analyzing and correcting discrepancies
Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
Other projects as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALITIES: Strong understanding of accounting theory
5+ years advanced accounting/finance experience
Experience in the F&B restaurants industry preferred
Highly detail oriented and organized in work
Ability to meet assigned deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
Proficiency with email and advanced Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA (part qualified with full articles) preferred
ERP implementation/ user experience for consolidation (Preferably NAV)
Advanced Excel knowledge
