Bookkeeper. 3-5 Years Experience
We are currently seeking a Bookkeeper / Senior Admin Assistant with approx. 3-5 years of experience. Garavaglia Architecture, Inc. is an architectural firm located in downtown San Francisco. Our range of projects includes commercial, residential, and institutional, with a primary specialization in historic preservation and sustainability throughout the State of California for a variety of client types. We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team.
Prospective applicants should have a minimum of an Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred. A qualified applicant should have:
Ability to communicate effectively with internal staff, client staff, and consultants
Accurate spreadsheet Quickbooks skills and bookkeeping practices
Knowledge of standard employee benefits administration
Experience in complex billing and contract administration within a professional services offices; such as, architectural, design, law, contractor, or accounting firms
Understanding of how projects in professional offices are organized and executed
Position responsibilities are:
Project invoicing and office bookkeeping
Scheduling meetings
Organizing project contracts
Making and organizing travel arrangements and general clerical support to the principal, and project managers
Coordinate with outside payroll services
Purchasing office supplies
Employee benefits administration
Municipal and state business tax and license application and renewals
Records/file storage management
Other general administrative tasks as directed
