Tactical Response Officers (x30), Sandton, Johannesburg. URGENT POSITION. Tactical Response Officers (x30) – Sandton. One of our large clients, a Private Investigations Company, based in Sandton, is currently looking for 30 Tactical Response Officers (Minimum Grade D PSIRA) to start as soon as possible, or immediately.

This is a Non-EE/AA position as per client requirements: Salary: Market-related plus benefits (Medical aid contribution, Life insurance, Provident fund).

Working Hours: 12 Hour shifts; Monday to Sunday - 05H00 to 17H00 and 17H00 to 05H00

Job Purpose: To provide visible patrolling on sites, immediate armed reaction and escorting, incident management, close protection, and operational support for critical services that support the operations of Combined Private Investigations and to ensure that all matters are addressed in a prompt, efficient, and professional manner.

Requirements: Minimum Grade 12 (NQF5 or similar qualification would be beneficial); 1 to 3 years Armed Response experience. Extremely important that the candidate has a valid firearm competency. Preferred Psira qualification (Minimum Grade D). Valid Driver’s License.

The candidate must also be willing to travel and be away from home for long periods of time. It is a specific requirement of this position that you need to operate in the field under sometimes strenuous physical circumstances; it is, therefore, a requirement that you must be fit and healthy.

Duties include, but are not limited to Tactical Armed Escorting, Armed Response, Reporting, Site checks, Crime Prevention. Liaise with clients, management, and colleagues to ensure the smooth running of all operations.

Ensure that client complaints and requests are handled efficiently. Ensure that the company vehicle is neat and tidy at all times and up to date with its service plan. Ensure that clients are treated with the utmost sense of respect and dignity, maintain the professional image of the company at all times.
