Roofing Team Leader, Carpenter, Pinetown, West Suburbs. GWR Roofing is looking for a Roofing Team Leader for an immediate start. They will be responsible for the onsite management of a team of roofers. Work Includes Installing timber trusses, tiling, sheeting, and waterproofing.

Attributes: Matric or equivalent recognized certification. Carpentry qualification. Ten years of experience in the roofing trade. Ability to effectively manage a crew of roofers. Ability to interpret truss and sheeting layouts. Skilled in the use of roofing tools and equipment. Working knowledge of tools, methods, and materials used in roof and sheet installation, general maintenance, and roofing trade work. Must be able to report and assist with problem identification. Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English.

Duties and Responsibilities: Perform general work in the installation and repair of timber trusses, roof tiles, and roof sheets. Install timber trusses as per layouts according to ITC specifications. Install roof sheeting and flashings according to industry standards. Assist in the determination of materials necessary for the performance of work. Work from written and verbal instructions, including layouts, drawings, diagrams, and sketches. Participate, monitor, and assist in the coordination of works and ensure compliance with instructions. Look after tools, materials, and equipment against damage, loss Safety.
