Sales & Marketing Diploma or equivalent. BSc Degree / Diploma or equivalent. Ophthalmic Industry and or OPD Theatre experience advantageous. Theatre detailing to Doctors. MS Office Proficiency. Written and Oral language etiquette. Work closely with External Sales Reps – Nationally.

Ensure that the Ophthalmology Channel achieves monthly targets as well as annual set targets. Identify and provide constant training to sales reps in the Ophthalmology category. Drive Ophthalmology's new business into the private sector. Adherence to various Key Performance indicators. Analysis Ophthalmic Sales figures – Regionally and Nationally. Plan and create a product strategy as well as market penetration strategy for new and existing Ophthalmology products in both Government & Private sectors. Manage and assist with the execution of Industry Conferences and Congresses. Manage and track Consignment stock at hospitals and doctors. Ensure that Government & Private hospitals are buying off the existing tenders. Plan and organize Tea Appointments at hospitals. Track and monitor brand market share and competitor activity. Identify KOLs for possible studies and Product Evaluations, monitor and report. Create Customer strategies and retain growth.

Requirements: A minimum of 1-5 years of medical industry working experience. 1-3 years of medical sales experience. Medical Sales Experience. Government and Private Hospital Ophthalmic practical experience. Working with an Ophthalmologist is an advantage.
