We are looking for an experienced cold caller/call agent to join our growing team within the insurance industry to help us grow and expand our client base as advisors. This person would join our company Berghshire Wealth, a top-performing BlueStar franchise within the Sanlam space. This means the applicant who applies needs to be dynamic and driven to fit the role of this challenging yet exciting journey ahead.
You will only be responsible for picking up the phone and calling potential clients for us to engage with by acquiring the client to agree to do a review on their insurance portfolio, which is where we as advisors will step in and explain the benefits of what we can offer in the insurance space, for both personal and commercial lines of business. The leads will be provided by us for you to call.
Start date: 1st September 2021
The requirements that need to be met before applying include: Applicant must reside in the northern suburbs (Offices are in Plattekloof). 6-12 months minimum experience as a call agent or cold caller. Knowledge in the insurance industry for both personal and commercial lines of business. Driver’s license/own transport – must be able to get to the office daily. Able to work well under pressure and meet monthly targets.
Confident, driven, and optimistic personality. Fluent in English & Afrikaans. The computer is literate with MS Office. Grade 12. Clear criminal record. Excellent communication and convincing skills. Times: Monday – Friday 08:00 to 16:00. Salary: R6 000 + Incentives (if monthly targets are met) + Bonus (December).
