B and B, Guest House, House Keeper wanted George, Eden. Company Name: Gables B and B. We are currently looking for a qualified young and enthusiastic HOUSEKEEPER.  The B&B is located in George. The B&B comprises 6 rooms.

The ideal candidate must have Experienced in housekeeping including, cleaning, maintenance, laundry, ironing, etc. At least 2 years previous experience from a 5-star hotel or guesthouse will be a great advantage.

Personal Qualities and Traits: Friendly and well-spoken individual. Well presented. Very good presentation skills and personal hygiene. Fluent in English. Passionate about delivering great service to guests. Sincere, honest, timely, reliable, intuitive, and caring. Enjoy engaging with people in a conversation. Sensitive to other people's needs. Leadership and management skills. Able to deal with customer complaints in a constructive way. Able to work under pressure, be self-motivated, and be able to work unsupervised. Able to work well as part of a team or on your own.

General Job Description: Cleaning of rooms, toilets, lounges, etc after and during guest stays, as well as cleaning of the Main house. Making up of beds, changing linen. Cleaning of all public areas. Ensuring the public areas are neat, clean, and in order at all times. Machine and hand laundry washing and ironing. Be ready to share the property's history and general information. Attending to guests, assessing their needs, and asking questions if necessary. Hosting, great, welcome and show guests their room, the facilities, and grounds when necessary. Help with carrying luggage if needed. Clean, fill & maintain coffee & tea station.

Ensure the bar and room fridges are always stocked correctly. Manage stock, storage, and packaging of food, beverages, and cleaning materials. Generating a shopping list as needed. Prepared to work weekends, public holidays, and over the holiday periods. Basic food preparation for breakfast chef. Salary Package. Highly Negotiable, all depending on experience and skills.

Uniform, Annual leave, Performance incentive. This position will have a 2 month Probation Period. Will start on 3 days a week, and potentially move to full-time. Starting date: Mid-September 2021.
