Senior Debtors Clerk/Bookkeeper (Brackenfell/Stellenbosch Area), Brackenfell, Northern Suburbs, A well-established brick and paver manufacturer has this position for an experienced Debtors Clerk/Bookkeeper. The company is based on the Bottelary Road outside Brackenfell and close to Stellenbosch.

The successful candidate will be required to do: Primarily debtor management e.g. debt collection, new account applications, manage COD accounts, etc and working closely with the on-site sales team, Bank reconciliations of 2 cash books - above-average transaction handling, Standard monthly financial recordkeeping up to trial balance and also management accounts will be expected,

Handling and reconciliation of cash payments, VAT statutory payments, Management of the credit card facility, Creditor management - stringent reconciliation on bigger creditors, Pallet movement reconciliations.

The following skills and/or experience are required: a passion for debtors management and at least 3 years plus relevant experience of debtors management, above-average knowledge of Pastel Accounting V and MS Excel, relevant bookkeeping experience, ability to communicate in both English and Afrikaans (verbal and written), ability to work independently without direct supervision and to deal with various issues simultaneously, a relevant post-matric/tertiary qualification (diploma/degree) will strengthen your application even further.

Salary up to R18000/month negotiable based on experience.

Working days: Mondays to Fridays.
