We seek an external technical sales specialist who is a self-starter familiar with the steel sales and service centre industry in the greater Western Cape.

Our ideal candidate will be proactive, results orientated steel industry sales professional with at least 5 years technical sales experience along with a proven sales track record in medium to large steel or related industry employers, who is capable of sourcing new business, following up on key account leads and building strong customer relationships.

In addition, a 1 to 3 year post matric sales or technical qualification, with solid Auto-cad experience, plus excellent spoken and written communication skills along with their own reliable transport. The job entails developing positive working relationships with our clients varied client base, developing new accounts via industry analysis, following leads and cold calling, traditional sales administration and database management and working with our experienced internal sales team.
