Seeking Writer, Editor, Rosebank, Johannesburg, Seeking Writer/Editor. We are a HipHop based Youtube channel that focuses on the older generation of American music (the 90s/2000s) and we're looking for a script editor to join the team. Your key responsibilities would entail:  fact-checking pre-written scripts provided to you refining the details, fixing any errors (incorrect dates, album titles, sales numbers)

Understanding & explaining conflicts with other artists adding any missing key information as you go along (checklist will be provided)

This is a writing and research-based job - One that requires you to have strong attention to detail and story-writing skills. You’ll need to have a keen interest in internet research to ensure all information is included in the script about the artists. Scripts are 2000+ words.

You’ll also need to possess a fluent grasp of the English language, be an enthusiastic writer and commit to one article a week.

This is an awesome part-time opportunity as articles shouldn’t take longer than a day to edit, two at most. Compensation: $50USD per article/paid weekly.
