IT Field Support Technician – Nelspruit. Mbombela / Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. Company Based in Jhb is looking for an IT Field Support Technician based in Nelspruit. Must be mobile and have a reliable car.

Role: Troubleshoot/Identify and resolve hardware, software, application, and operating system issues; Install and configure end users’ computers and required peripherals; Provide ICT Technical support and maintenance to end-users; Coordination of multiple procedures or systems; Administrative support - planning, scheduling and coordination of processes and systems. Maintain ICT Inventory of hardware, software, and resources; Provide training to new users of existing Technology; Provide technical assistance - Monitoring and managing Local Area Network (LAN), Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN).

Job Requirements: National Certificate/Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent (NQF 5); +5 years’ functional experience working in an ICT environment providing ICT Technical support services; ICT Certificates in N+, A+, MCSE or equivalent will be an added advantage; ICT Internal Control and risk management; Problem-solving and analysis; Good understanding of the technical aspects of ICT goods & services.

Good understanding of OHS. Must have a smartphone and agree to track. Must be willing to work on alternate weekends and after hours as part of Standby agreement.
