Food Service Supervisor (at a banquet hall)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, On Call, Weekend, Day, Evening
Salary: $13.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Edmonton South, Alberta (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Supervisory Experience: Food and beverage servers, Cooks
Specific Skills: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, Establish work schedule, Estimate and order ingredients and supplies, Ensure food service and quality control, Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, Prepare and submit reports, Supervise and check assembly of trays, Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
Additional Skills: Establish methods to meet work schedules, Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, Hire food service staff
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Work under pressure
Ability to Supervise: 5-10 people
Essential Skills: Communication, Problem solving, Decision making, Significant use of memory
Languages: English
