KEY SKILLS: Clear and concise communication at all levels. Experience, knowledge, and understanding of all aspects of the Flexible Packaging Industry. Sound Flexographic printing knowledge, up to 10 colors. Experience, knowledge, and understanding in the roles of Quality Assurance, Health and Safety, Food Safety and Global ISO Standards, and Product Development environments & Industry. Experience, knowledge, and understanding in the role of Product Development.

KEY DUTIES: Maintenance of ISO and Food Safety Standards. Co-ordinate Trial Runs – plain and printed up to 10 colors; Testing and Analysing of Raw Materials. Conducting internal and external audits; Processing customer complaints – compiling reports with solutions - corrective and preventive actions; Compiling daily and monthly defects and rejecting reports; Identifying and implementing training needs/developments and records for employees.

Conducting management review meetings bi-annually involving Directors and Departmental managers; To make quality decisions and carrying out appropriate corrective and preventative action. To ensure all quality reports requested by customers are submitted timeously. To check and approve new design work tickets together with the R&D Team. Extracting and constructing reports that demonstrate a State of Statistical control. Aligning inspection, testing, corrective and preventative action with documented Quality procedures and systems. Systems auditing to ensure compliance to the Quality System and related inspection frequencies and procedures.

Identifying risk opportunities. Facilitating related improvements with the aim to realize a State of Total Predictability.

QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in Quality (ISO) and Food Safety (or something similar) - Not negotiable. Qualified Internal Auditor on ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000. Preferably print & packaging background (Flexibles & Flexographic). Minimum 3 years experience.
