Retail pharmacist (Relief Pharmacist)
Terms of Employment: Temporary, Full Time, Shift, Weekend, Day, Evening
Salary: $40.00 to $45.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Winnipeg and Area, Manitoba (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of university
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Pharmacy Examining Boards of Canada Certification, Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Area of Specialization: Community or retail pharmacy
Specific Skills: Check prescriptions for proper dosage, Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products, Dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals, Advise on the administration, uses and effects of the medication, drug incompatibilities and contra-indications, Maintain medication profiles of customers, Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products, Advise customers on selection and use of non-prescription medication
Additional Skills: Supervise personnel, Order and maintain stock
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, Hand-eye co-ordination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods, Ability to distinguish between colours, Work under pressure
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence
Ability to Supervise: 1 to 2 people
