Estate Manager – Knysna, Eden, Requirements: Grade 12. Relevant tertiary education is a big plus. Minimum 5 years Estate Management experience. Must have knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety regulations.

Knowledge of: Electrical, Plumbing, Paving, Security, Building rules and regulations, OHS, BCEA, POPI acts. Any form of electrical qualification or apprenticeship is a big plus. Excellent communication and people skills. Computer literate. Valid driver’s license. Own transport. Must be prepared to work after hours and weekends should it be required. Contactable references.

Responsibility Duties: Effectively run the estate in accordance with rules and regulations (hands on). Ensure that the estate and facilities are operated safely and efficiently. Repairs and maintenance of all estate lighting. Ensure that all roads (paved and other) and gardens on the estate are properly maintained. Ensure that all projects, systems and technology is properly managed. Financial administration. Apply effective budgeting controls and spending. Assist with the annual budget. At the direction of the HOA take action as required regarding laws, statutes, ordinances and rules and regulations.

Communicating / liaising with: Homeowners and Trustees, Agents, Lawyers, Security company, Construction and architectural companies. Service providers etc. Management reports to Trustees and Home Owners Association. Act as a liaison between Home Owners and Trustees. Be available to 24/7 for any security related issues that may arise.

Salary: R 25 000 p/m

Company vehicle (company use). Cell phone allowance.
