Experienced Book-Keeper / Accountant - Southfield Cape Town, Plumstead, Southern Suburbs. Company Name: FOOD SAFETY. National Catering. Equipment Service Company seeks an experienced bookkeeper and credit controller to join our team. Salary range R15,000.00 – R18,000.00 p/m. The suitable candidate will be someone who meets the following requirements:

Minimum Requirements: Conversant with Pastel Partner, Excel, and Word. Reliable and trustworthy. Organized and assertive. Ability to work in a team and individually. Ability to make sound decisions. Excellent verbal and written communication. Can work under pressure and meet deadlines. Matriculated. Has at least 5 years bookkeeping experience.

MAIN KPA’s: Full bookkeeping and credit control function. Prepare Management accounts to Trial Balance. All Statutory Returns (VAT; EMP 201, COID; Etc). Salary Preparation, and Staff Leave Management. Liaison with auditors on annual audits. Manage a small team of junior accounts and admin staff. Systematic and prompt follow-up of outstanding debt. Reconciliation of accounts (will be tested). Handling Cash flow on Excel.

Attending to customer queries. Opening of new accounts and managing customer Master Data on existing accounts. Allocation and processing of journals.
