Machinist
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day, Evening
Salary: $18.00 to $21.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): 3rd Period Apprentice
Experience: Experience an asset
Work Setting: General manufacturing
Type of Machine Experience: Conventional
Machining Tools and Machines: Drill presses, Engine lathes, Milling machines
Measuring Tools: Micrometers, Callipers
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables, Repair machine tools and parts, Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods
Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle, Valid driver's licence
