Terms of Employment: Temporary, Part Time leading Full Time, On Call, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Night
Salary: $12.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Burnside, Nova Scotia (3 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Forklift Operator Certification
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work Setting: Trucking company, Warehouse, Retail and wholesale distribution centre
Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Strapping machines, Pallet lifters, Industrial lift trucks and forklifts, Light trucks
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Pick orders and stock, Weigh materials and goods, Wrap goods, Pack and unpack goods, Sort goods, Crate goods, Stack goods, Rig, lash and shore goods, Store cargo and materials, Transport and distribute materials and goods
Additional Skills: Build pallets, Ship orders
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
