Retail Store Supervisor (for Halloween Store)
Terms of Employment: Temporary, Full Time, Shift, Weekend, Day, Evening
Salary: $11.50 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island (3 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Experience: No experience
Work Setting: Retail establishment
Supervisory Experience: Retail salespersons and sales clerks
Specific Skills: Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers, Assign sales workers to duties, Authorize payments by cheque, Authorize return of merchandise, Sell merchandise, Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages, Maintain specified inventory
Additional Skills: Hire and train or arrange for training of staff, Order merchandise
Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check
Own Tools/Equipment: Cellular phone
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Combination of sitting, standing, walking
Ability to Supervise: 20 people or less
Essential Skills: Communication, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory
Other Information:Halloween Central is a fun fast paced work environment. This position could be seasonal or lead to a permanent position in one of other stores.
