About the role: This is a true ‘all-rounder’ opportunity with an emphasis on efficiency and good financial acumen. The role will focus predominantly on the finance aspects in specific the debtors and collections duties although the full scope of work varies greatly. The ability to remain adaptable and a can-do attitude is a definite must. The successful candidate will receive full training and support from the outgoing hire.

What will your days look like:Finance 60% Overdue Reports. Collections (Unpaid Invoices/Failed payments). Account Queries, Submission of receipts and invoices to accounts. Office Management 20% Procurement. Asset Management, Facility Management, Staff Transport, CRM Liaison/Support, Telephone System Liaison/Support. Internal IM Liaison/Support, Research (as required), HR 10% Payroll liaising with our accountant, Leave Registers. Staff Onboarding/Offboarding. Labour Consultant Liaison. Functions/Staff Wellness. Recruitment 10% Placement of Ads. Screening of CV’s and compiling application sets to present to management. Recruiter Agreements & Liaison.

About you: You will have excellent communication skills. Sound financial knowledge. Strong negotiation skills. Comfortable with getting on the phone and speaking to customers. Be firm yet professional without tainting long term relationships. Accurate with razor fine attention to detail Ideally, experience with Xero or similar cloud accounting packages. Work independently, whilst taking instruction and completing tasks in a timely manner. Working knowledge of the Google Suite of products. 4 - 5 years experience in a similar mid-level role.
