Requirement below: Valid Psira Grade C, Computer Knowledge, Experience in alarm system software (Listener) – Advantage. Experience in CCTV Monitoring – Advantage. Reliable Transport to Umbilo Durban. Able to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and public holidays. Must be able to work under pressure. Fluent in English. Good telephone manner. Excel Knowledge.

Duties: Supervise the daily control room operation. Reporting critical incidents to the Control Room Duty Manager. Develop and complete the control room policy and procedure. Planning and organizing daily Shift reports. Ensure the control room staff and equipment are ready for any types of incidents. Maintains visitor’s logbook, issuing and receiving the keys. Managing 30 Staff members. Excellent people and performance management skills: motivate, coach, develop, inspire and ability to identify training needs Knowledge on CCTV Monitoring.

Invoicing Client, Monitoring of various alarm systems, Understanding of all alarm systems. Managing the delivery of the control room service and ensure delivery of operational KPI’s. To deliver effective team management.

Ensuring operating systems are functioning correctly and are fit for purpose, troubleshooting and organizing for corrective action while at the same time mitigating against any risk to the Control room.

Carrying out dynamic security and safety risk assessment, Ensuring the efficient and correct system use of systems by staff, Communicating effectively with the control room team and liaising effectively with the operational management teams within the Control room. Excellent presentation and IT skills are required.
