A very well-established IT company with an international footprint in UK, is looking for a ‘Senior IT Support Engineer’ to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in Durbanville, Cape Town.

Position Requirements:  At least 5 years’ experience in IT desktop support, At least 3 years’ experience in IT server and cloud infrastructure support. Must have excellent communication skills.

Solid IT product knowledge is essential: Microsoft Cloud Services Knowledge. IT Hardware Knowledge. IT Networking Knowledge. Internet Connectivity Services Knowledge. Telephone Systems Knowledge. IT Security solutions Knowledge. Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport beneficial. Good quality references required.

Technology requirement examples: Microsoft 365. Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Desktop and Laptop hardware, Basic network troubleshooting, Router/Firewall understanding.

Position Responsibilities: Maintain Knowledge of Industry Trends. Provide phone support from company office and occasionally from home. Manage your time efficiently to attend to all required tasks for the day. Must be willing to work to achieve certifications from leading IT vendors.
