Retail Accountant, Brackenfell, Northern Suburbs. Large Established Meat processing plant in Cape Town which specialises in full range of emulsion products and hams, is seeking to employ a Retail Accountant with a minimum of 3 Year's relevant accounting experience.

An expressive motivational letter and a strong CV with relevant references is required.

Responsibility: Daily cashbook recons. Review of daily cash ups performed by Cash up Clerk. Reconciliation of Sales and Sales Journal. Monthly reconciliation of Cash-on Hand, Credit Card and ATM Balance Sheet Accounts. Review and verification of supplier statement on a timeous basis. Assist with review of creditors reconciliations. Calculation of monthly Franchise Fees and Advertising Fees. Manage Rentals (Rental invoices and utility accounts).

Assist Senior Accountant with duties: Prepare VAT return schedules. Assist with preparation and coordination of audited processes. Preparation of monthly management account schedules and Balance Sheet reconciliations. Degree in Accounting / Finance. 3 year’s relevant accounting experience. Excellent computer literacy. Accounting knowledge. Experience in Retail environment will be beneficial. Strong attention to detail. Be able to work accurately under pressure, prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and have strong problem solving skill. Organised, Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all level.

Salary: RR20 000.00 to R35 000.00
