Looking for a full-time senior legal secretary/paralegal, preferably with trademark experience. A minimum of 5 years of legal secretarial/paralegal experience is required and qualification/s such as a Matric/ National Diploma or equivalent qualification or a Secretarial Diploma/Certificate will be an advantage. The position requires the successful candidate to work from our offices in Sandton and does not lend itself to working remotely. The work environment is extremely pleasant and relaxed, but the job requires somebody who takes pride in their work and can work quickly, efficiently, and meticulously.

The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative skills; the ability to quickly learn and take charge of the job; an eye for detail; excellent English language skills to communicate clearly and effectively with attorneys, clients, and officials at the trademarks office, both telephonically and in writing. The ability to work without supervision; work under pressure; use initiative; good with people on the telephone; ability to prioritize; an eye for detail; good organizational skills; good computer literacy; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; good copy and dicta-phone typing skills (typing speed 60 wpm) are all essential requirements for the job.
