About the position: The residential and sales manager is a position exclusively for someone with a wealth of experience in residential sales and letting. This position involves the full A-Z management of this division with the main objective of finding sales and leasing stock, listing them on the relevant portal, lead management, viewings and ultimately closing leasing and sales deal within the Western Cape. The Residential and Sales Manager will double up as a team manager and sales and letting agent.

Responsibilities: Creating a portfolio of properties both to lease and for sale within the Western Cape. Sale and Lease property lead generation. Management of leased properties. Canvasing for properties. Photography of properties.

Viewing with prospective buyers/tenants: Ability to reach daily, weekly and monthly prospecting and canvassing targets. Be able to ultimately oversee the whole residential agent network within the company. Liaise with the Marketing Manager to promote properties and create campaigns to promote this department. Use all available platforms to promote and generate leads. Be able to source high ticket, exclusive properties.

Seller and buyer liaison / landlord and tenant liaison. Liaising with bond originators. Commission management and negotiation sellers. Weekly update reports to the CEO.

Requirements: 5 to 10 years experience in residential sales and leasing. Matric Certificate and at least a NQF level 4. Proven track record in Sales and Leasing well as Leasing Management. Ability to grow the stock portfolio of the Western Cape. Ability to lead and manage a team of agents. Car, Cell phone and Laptop are essential. Time management and efficiency is a key trait needed for this position. Must be a closer. There will be an expectation of a certain number of deals to be closed each month which is in line with the ability to reach revenue targets. Must be able to get things done without supervision. This is a partial salary and commission position with additional incentives on targets reached.
