SageX3 Analyst, Stellenbosch, Cape Winelands. This role involves the analysis and implementation of Sage X3 changes for enhancement of existing and new business processes. The scope of the Sage X3 Analysis and support work is primarily in the finance, manufacturing, inventory, purchasing, projects and sales modules of X3, but could expand as more modules are being utilised.

This role also requires 1st and 2nd line application support functions including the engagement with the different stakeholders in the company and external suppliers.

This position is a hybrid role where the candidate will also be required to assist with the support and administration of the other MIS systems e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Alfresco and Bitbucket.

Primary duties: Sage ERP X3 analysis as well as user application support. 1st and 2nd line support of Sage X3 on reported Bugs, Incidents and Inquiries. Support users in evaluating requirements and determining solutions. Specify and Support on-going development of Sage X3 application. Manage user access security. Managing Interfaces to and from other systems. Design and manage UAT. Trouble shooting all aspects of Sage X3 system.

Assist with application software upgrades, integrations with Sage X3. Design, implement and maintain ERP management reports in Crystal reports and Alchemex. Liaise with Sage X3 implementation partner for development and bug fixes. Test environment setup and maintenance. User Guides and Training as required. MIS application support and administration tasks on JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket and Alfresco. Responsible for maintaining up-to-date system documentation. 1st and 2nd line support on reported Bugs, Incidents and Inquiries of all MIS Systems. User Access and permissions management considering relevant business processes and security policies. Implement and test configuration changes and scripts to support the business processes, information and security requirements, User Guides and Training as required.

Education and experience: IT Degree, Diploma or relevant Certifications. Financial modules are beneficial. At least 3 years relevant experience of Sage X3 ERP system Administration, Analysis and application support. Proven record in developing management reports from the system or linked SQL applications. Strong troubleshooting skills at both the operating system, database, application and web services integration levels.

Knowledge / Skills: Experience in Sage X3 version 9 or higher. Financial background essential, SQL language, Crystal Reports, Alchemex or Sage Intelligence reporting.

Beneficial / Advantageous: Experience in JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket (GIT) or Alfresco. Sage X3 Certification. Maven Repositories.
