Guesthouse Manager, Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. Company Name: Anchorage Guesthouse. A 4-star Guest House in Summerstrand, Port Elizabeth seeks a Dynamic & Energetic Guest House Manager with immediate availability. Please note - this is a live-in position - not negotiable.

Responsibilities/duties would include (not limited to) the following: Managing Bookings & Reservations System. Quotations & Replies to Enquiries. Checking In & Checking Out of Guests. Maintaining Guest Relations. Preparing & Serving Breakfast. Daily Administrative Duties. Ensuring Guest House Supplies are Ordered/Bought. Stock Record Keeping. Marketing & Social Media Communications. General Housekeeping Duties. Overseeing Housekeeping & Gardening Staff. Managing the General Maintenance of the Property. Filing & Administrative Records. Managing Petty Cash. Basic Bookkeeping Functions. Invoicing & Month End Reconciliation / Reports. Weekly Feedback Meetings/Reports.

Minimum Requirements: Grade 12. Previous Hospitality Experience is a Requirement. Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills. Ability to Interact Professionally with Clients – Telephonically, Via E-mail and In Person. Fluent in English & Afrikaans (Xhosa an Advantage).

Strong Admin & Computer Skills. Basic Bookkeeping Experience Essential. An Eye for Detail. Own Transport & Valid Driver’s Licence. Willingness to go the Extra Mile for Guests. Pro-Active, Energetic & Go-Getter type Personality. Single Person Preferred.

Remuneration: Free Accommodation (Bedroom/Lounge/Bathroom). Monthly Salary. Position Available immediately.
