Salary: $21.44 Hourly for 40 hours per week, As per collective agreement, Disability Benefits

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Welder Trade Certification
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Major Work Area: Construction, Maintenance/repair
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Industrial, Commercial, Institutional, Residential
Area of Specialization: Truck repair, Machinery or equipment repair, Cast iron and other metals
Type of Machine Experience: Spot welding machines,seam resistance welding machines, Arc welding machines, Soldering machines
Welding Positions: All positions
Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Specific Skills: Interpret welding process specifications, Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, Perform post welding heat treatment
Additional Skills: Instruct apprentices, Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications, Supervise other workers
Security and Safety: Basic security clearance
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination
