Receptionist needed for medical practice, Milnerton, Northern Suburbs. An efficient, very organized, friendly, and energetic receptionist is needed for a GP (Medical) practice in Milnerton.

The candidate MUST have worked in medical practice before. The candidate should have dealt with medical aids in the past.

Duties include Reception duties: billing and collection of payments; general cleanliness of the reception area, doctor’s consultation rooms, and the toilet. Confirmation of medical aid membership and obtaining authorization from medical aid. Patient record management. Dealing with patients' general queries.

Monitoring the availability of medication and assisting the doctor to order as required. Manage email communications with clients, suppliers, and medical professionals.

Requirements/Skills: Matric certificate. Knowledge of any medical billing software is an advantage. Computer literacy. Microsoft Word and Google Sheets. Working under pressure in a fast-paced environment with minimal to no supervision. Ability to work with the occasional “difficult” patient. Professional appearance. The salary for the position is R6200 per month. This includes the conditions of the BCEE. Only interested persons who fit the above criteria will be considered.
