Brick Sales Representative (R20 to R25000 cost to company). Brackenfell, Northern Suburbs, Company Name: FJJ Consultation Services. My client, a well-established brick and paver manufacturer has this position for an experienced person who will join their sales team. The company is based on the Bottelary Road outside Brackenfell towards Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will be required to sell their clay face bricks and pavers not only to their existing client base such as Builders Warehouse, Brights and Cashbuild as well as to Construction and Paving companies, Architects, Property Developers, etc. but also to increase sales by obtaining new clients and marketing the products; therefore the person should be willing to travel also to outlying areas in the Western Cape such as Hermanus and Piketberg.

The ideal candidate will have hands on sales or relevant experience with the following skills: At least 5 years’ experience in the building/construction/retail/hardware industry in a sales or relevant position and will ideally have existing contacts in this industry. A self-starter who excels in a sales target driven environment and whose motto in life is persistence. Has a natural service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain client relationships. Good communication skills in English; ability to speak Afrikaans will strengthen the application.

Good computer skills in Excel and Pastel. Ability to do quotations for clients as well as preparing tender documents. Attention to detail and ability to work independently without direct supervision.

Salary package: Negotiable between R20000 and R25000/month (including allowances) as well as sales commission based on the experience of the applicant.  A company car plus a fuel card and a cellphone will also be provided for business purposes.
