Our client, a Table Grape Farm, situated in the Hex River valley, De Doorns, has this exciting position available for a driven Production Manager with strong interpersonal and leadership skills, for one of their 10 production units.

The ideal candidate can work independently, is self-motivated, can handle pressure and initiative to enhance and help grow the farming activities.

Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate. A relevant training/tertiary qualification in Agriculture. A minimum 3-5 years’ practical experience in a similar role. Must be self-motivated with excellent interpersonal communication skills. Excellent leadership and managerial skills. Good recordkeeping and administrative skills. Willingness to work hard and having a passion for farming activities is crucial.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the effective management of the 35 hectares production-unit that will include all table grape production aspects, financial and budget management, appropriate administration as well as the upliftment and development of all workers. A market-related remuneration package which includes housing and profit-sharing will be offered to the successful candidate.
