Local Security Company seeking a stable and reliable control room operator to become part of our team and manage our control room. Must be mature, responsible, and able to work under pressure. You will need to be confident, assertive, and able to maintain a strong work ethic with high standards. You must be able to speak, read and write English fluently and must be able to comfortably converse with a client. You will need to be able to write detailed statements and record information accurately.

You will need to be computer literate and confident in your ability to use control room technology. You will need to be honest and trustworthy to work with confidential information. You will need to be neat and able to positively represent the company and you will need to uphold the standards of the company.

You will need to be able to take control of a compromising situation and remain calm under pressure. Experience is to your benefit however if you are a capable fast learner we are willing to train you. The company is willing to invest time in training candidates as you must understand the responsibility of your role in saving lives. An understanding of Afrikaans and Zulu will be to your advantage.

Must be effective and competent to record and relay information accurately. Must be motivated to take responsibility and prioritize. You will need to assist in ensuring the standards of the company are maintained and improved, and that our clients are always satisfied. It is vital for this position that you have a strong character and will need to be able to take on serious responsibilities. You need to be able to lead members and ensure that they carry out their duties efficiently and effectively at all times.

Must be completely dedicated and willing to work a 3 month probation period. This is a job for someone dedicated to making a positive impact on the community, the company, and the security industry. Previous experience as a control room operator will be an advantage to you, however, this position is suitable for responsible, enthusiastic candidates that have strong communication and admin abilities.
