Our client a medication adherence & disease management company with a national footprint is looking for a Bilingual (English and Afrikaans) Project Assistant in Parklands. They are seeking to recruit a high-energy experienced, and motivated individual to join their fast-growing business.  The successful candidate will assist and work with the Information Intelligence and Innovation BU manager. The work will be varied and will involve concepts including but not limited to data analytics, healthcare, customer engagement and system development.  The role will expose the successful candidate to many of the important projects within the company, with the opportunity to gain experience in many different areas. 

Responsibility You will be responsible for the following but not limited to: Your objective will be to always streamline processes in healthcare, particularly within pharmacy, and enable the achievement of better patient care. Assist with the planning and implementation of projects in the business. Capacity planning to ensure sufficient resources to maintain SLA's within department. Management/operational reports. Manage relationship and service delivery of third-party providers.

Interact with managers in other departments to resolve service issues and member queries. Identify and implement innovative ways to improve departmental processes and uplift the business. Feedback to staff on organization and departmental strategy as outlined. Ensure that all staff in the department have the of required resources to perform their functions optimally.

Identify system developments/improvements required to create efficiency in the department. Ensure compliance with legislation and scheme rules. Ability to be proactive and take initiative. Thorough and detail oriented. Be reliable and take responsibility. Work efficiently and have good time management skills. Be proficient in Excel and enjoy working with data. Be well organized.

A background with testing systems or working in a more technical role will be preferable, but more essential is someone who can grasp concepts easily and has the ability to create clarity within a complex system.

Education: Matric, Diploma / Degree pref. Minimum of 3 – 4 years’ experience within a medica environment. MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Skills: Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills. Strong negotiating and influencing skills with clients at all levels. Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and to meet certain goals. Must be a positive and goal-driven individual.
