Data Entry Clerk, City Centre, Cape Town, Company Name: Global Q Solutions. Global Q Solutions based at 1st Floor, Media 24 Building, Cape Town CBD are looking for a high skilled focused DATA ENTRY CLERK to continuously update our client’s company's databases. Excellent remuneration package on offer for Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 no weekends. (You may have to work some public holidays depending on client requirements.) – This is an in office position based in the CBD. If you achieve 100 % accuracy for 3 months consistently with no excellent KPI’s, you may get an opportunity to work from home.
The data entry clerk will ensure that all alphanumeric information are captured with exceptional accuracy. The data entry clerk will capture the data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner. You will identify and correct errors, and swiftly bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary.
To do well in this job, you should have the following non-negotiable competencies: Excellent command of the English language. High attention to detail. Touch typing ability.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: Reviewing invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents and information as required from relevant departments. Scanning through information to identify pertinent information. Entering and updating information into relevant databases. Creating accurate spreadsheets. Ensuring data is backed up. Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered. Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval (where applicable).
Correcting errors and organizing the information in a manner that will optimise swift and accurate capturing. Handling additional duties from time to time. Top candidates will be focused, diligent, energetic and have excellent people’s skills.
Data Entry Clerk Requirements: Matric or Grade 12 equivalent. At least 6 - 12 months experience in a relevant field (Data Entry and or Administration). Proficient touch typing skills. (65 wpm with 100% accuracy). Good command of English. Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed.
