DTP Operator Vacancy, Other, Durban City. An exciting position has become available for a DTP Operator, with sound knowledge in DTP for a digital Print Department.

Requirements: Applicants should have knowledge with design programs such as, Adobe photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat and Corel-draw as you will be working with these programs daily doing artwork editing, corrections and imposition for print. General Print knowledge is a must as you will be working & communicating directly with Print operators.

You will also be in communication with various customers on a daily basis. We are looking for a team player with good communication and technical skills who isn’t afraid to go the extra mile when required to.

Duties: Download and receive artwork remotely. Artwork pre-flighting. Artwork corrections and imposition for Print (DTP). Proofing and proof checks before print. Communication with Print Operators / Production controllers. Job Tracking. Customer Liaison. Office work printing. Salary will be discussed during interview stages. Working hours 8 am to 5 pm.
